Against Federal Laws- the actress Jane Fonda went to Hanoi (note spelling) North Vietnam and even posed on an Anti-aircraft machine cannon- used to blast American Airmen out of the skies! she did not fire the weapon, but was in a very gung-ho pose. Seriously, she could have been brought up on treason or related crimes charges. somebody even made a pin with the cannon illustrated ( sans Jane) and the name Hanoi Jane. Another case of supreme lex celebritas where celebrities get away with what would land Joe Smith in Jail-or worse. this was during the Vietnam War and not after or at some Vets gathering.
