Calorie is the unit of heat energy in cgs system. One calorie is the heat energy required to raise the temperature of one gram of water through one degree Celsius. But in MKSA system of units, joule is used as the unit of heat energy. One calorie is equal to 4.180 joule. Calorie is usually used in bio chemical changes.
Energy can not be destroyed, so the total amount of energy before a change is equal to the amount of energy after the change. However, some energy is changed into a useful form, but some may be wasted and not used. For example, a light bulb, changes electrical energy into light energy, but some of the energy is changed to heat and some to sound, these are not useful and are wasted, but are changed nonetheless. So a transformation from mechanical energy to heat will have the same total energy at the start as at the finish, but unless it is 100% efficient some of the original energy will be 'lost'
That is called "power". The SI unit of energy is the joule, the SI unit for power is the watt, which is equal to joules/second.That is called "power". Yes, however it is very unlikely in day to day life. It could be done if the nessesary calcualtions are perfromed and an object is dropped from a precise height so that in a moment of time, its gravitational potential energy is equal to it's current kinetic energy. An even simpler way of making these energies equal is driving a car over a bridge of a known height and keeping the car at such a speed that its Ke is equal to it's GPe so that Ke=GPe
It will melt! But you have to add enough energy to equal the latent heat as well as to bring the ice up to the freezing point, if it is in a freezer to start it will be at about -21degC.
Energy changes and object is equal to the net work done. This is taught in science.
doing work changes the energy because energy is begining transferred to the object and the power will be equal to the amount of energy transferred.
A ton is the amount of cooling capacity (power), not energy. 1 ton is equal to 12,000 BTU/hr.

Yes. If the net force is not zero, the particle accelerates. Accelerate means the velocity changes,if the velocity changes the kinetic energy of the particle changes.
Kinetic energy is equal to mv2/2, where m is mass and v is speed. Since speed is squared in this formula, changes in speed have a greater influence on the kinetic energy than do changes in mass.Read more: Which_quantity_has_the_greatest_influence_on_the_amount_of_kinetic_energy_that_a_large_truck_has_while_moving_down_the_highway
There is no metric unit of capacity or volume that is equal to 1000 millimeters. This is because millimeters is length, and it has no relevance to capacity and/or volume.
Physics. the capacity to do work; the property of a system that diminishes when the system does work on any other system, by an amount equal to the work so done; potential energy. Symbol: E e= mc2
NUCLEUS.Atomic energy is produced from changes within nucleus of an atom.
