yes! you can get different types of water that come out of taps. you can get hard water and you can get soft water. hard water has relatively large amounts of calcium and magnesium salts dissolved in it. this is because water is a good solvent. as rain falls from clouds, some of the carbon dioxide dissolves in the water to form carbonic acid (this is very dilute and is not harmful). as the carbonic acid moves through different calcium and magnesium minerals to form hard water. this is proven to help reduce the risks of Heart disease. also, some people say it tastes better too ;). a disadvantage though is that it can cost a little more money to have because you need more soap for it to lather and produce bubbles. also it produces lime scale.
you can transform hard water into soft water by removing calcium and magnesium ions. this cam be achieved by adding washing soda (sodium carbonate) or by passing it through an ionic exchange column.
lol soft water is the opposite and is just plane H2O.
No. tap water will not even harm it.
Sugar crystals grow faster in tap water because there are more chemicals in tap water.
It depends on the temperature of the tap water.
No. Water is water.
yes
tap water
No, never drink hot tap water, but cold tap water is actually really healthy for you!
people drink bottled of water because its more healthy and in tap water there is bacteria and has and odor to it. this means its not filtered.
don't worry about the tap water, yes tap is full of chemicals, but generally not anough to harm a chinchilla. if you are worried about it though you can give your chinchilla bottled water. my chinchillas drink tap all the time and are quite healthy. hope this helps.
yes because it is filtered 100% and it has a better taste and also it is healthy.
That is my favorite question. You see, tap water from a faucet has CO2 in it, but has a little nitrogen monoxide, if not very clean. Tap water also has lead in it, unhealthy for plants and people, so plz use bottled water, it is healthy for a growing plant.
you can tap tap
well pure water does not conduct electricity so this is a dangerous way to test it. all tap water has salts in it because pure water is not even healthy for people. people should worry less about the salts in the water and more about the HALOGENS in water
No, it isn't faster, tap water freezes just at the same temperature as tap water
tap water...
tap water
Plain Tap water would freeze fastest.Adding salt or sugar to tap water will cause a depression/decrease in freezing point. Hence it will be harder to freeze the tap salt or sugar water.
