I don't believe so if my memory is correct. The way an auto mechanic explained it to me was "it's easier to understand and see in a schematic". Here is a question another teacher had ask, why is the electrode on a spark plug a positive ground? I never did find out why!! Although this knowledge will never do me a lick of good, I would still like to know. Arthunt31@gmail.com. 11/15/11
