There are a number of things to conclude about obesity.

1. Obesity is unhealthy and increases the chances of diabetes and Heart disease.

2. Obesity can usually be avoided. You just need to eat the right foods, in the right amounts, and get regular exercise.

3. Some of the "healthier" foods are not so healthy. For some people, MSG and Aspartame can lead to obesity, so they might eat Chinese food covered with MSG and have a Diet Soda with it, not knowing this is helping them gain weight. You might assume margarine is safer than butter, not realizing you end up eating more to get satisfied. Sure, you might decrease your fat calories, but more than make up for it in carbohydrates.
