Styrofoam is excellent
Freezer
No because water is a good conductor of heat in comparison to wool.
Yes it is a good insulator
Rubber is an object that is a good insulator.
What is a good insulator for a igloo project
A vacuum is a great sound insulator. Materials that absorb energy such as wool are good insulators as well. I heard of a silicone adhesive that transformed acoustic energies into heat - that was a good insulator if it was used to glue two sheets of something together.
Styrofoam is excellent
snow is a good insulator, especially when it remains in frozen state.
What you do is you put a water bottle horizontally in your freezer for 2-4 hours if you open it and its frozen heat the water bottle to room temp. (forgot to mention that it is easier to do it when room temp) then once you find the time where its not frozen but very cold water you take it out very gently and make it vertical again like normal and then hit the bottom of the water bottle against a hard surface and watch it freeze. p.s.-it is best if the water bottle is unsealed if it is not them boil some water and put it in a bottle but it is not as good.

insulator.
Pure water is an insulator, but in the "real world", water usually has impurities - notably ions - that actually make it a good conductor. This is theory; I don't think it is practical to use water as an insulator.
, i have recently saw your question and i wanted to answer because it is quite simple to be honest. Some keep the water heated for longer because it all depends on the insulator the better the insulator the more it keeps the water heated for longer. all the insulator is, its a material which acts like a big blanket which simply just traps the hot water steam from escaping or water and it keeps it warm inside. if you just had the bottle without the insulator then the bottle will be cold on the outside which will cause the water to be cold. you cant see the insular when you look in because its tin metal thing on the inside depends what bottle u get and the in the middle form the inside and the outside is the insulator. i know this since i am a dedicated scientist is inveted many things.

No. Pure water isn't a very good conductor, but it's not an insulator either. Water with dissolved minerals ranges from an indifferent to pretty decent conductor ... not as good as most metals, but not too shabby.
Pure water (distilled water) is an insulator. Generally we think of water as a conductor because there are impurity ions in the water, such as tap water. Pure water can't be called a conductor, but it can also conduct electricity.
