A paramecium is more comparable to a whole human body than a single human cell. It contains the entire digestive stsyem (which for a paramecium, is simply taking in food, taking out nutrients and expelling waste). For a human cell, it is completely reliant on the respitory, digestive, and circulatory system. In order, one is used to obtain and get rid of gases, one is used to break down food, and the last is used to deliver both to the cells. Many singly cell or simple multi-cellular cells can, if needed, absorb gases through osmosis as they are so small, there waste is easily removed, food does not need to be transported and digestion is simple. Therefore, the paramecium does not have to deal with all the complexities the human cells must to survive.
Single celled is when an organism only has one cell, such as a paramecium. Single-celled is the same as unicellular. There is two kinds of cells: unicellular (single-celled) and multicellular ( has many cells).
A one-celled organism is the smallest organism that can carry out all functions of life. Two examples would be a paramecium (Protista kingdom), and Cyanobacteria (Eubacteria kingdom).
If you mean "paramecium", it is a one celled creature. paramecium- move with cilia amoeba- move by creeping along with their pseudopod's (foot-like appendage) also, paramecium are larger.
Multi celled
it has more cells.
No. A paramecium is a one-celled organism.
Yes. Paramecium is a genus of unicellular, or single-celled, protozoa.
one celled - or unicellular
No, paramecium is a prokaryote (single-celled).
A Paramecium a 1 celled living organism.
single-celled organism
Invertebrate, It is a single-celled organism
one singled celled organism is an amoeba. usally single celled organisms are surrounded by water to survive.
the difference between an elodea cell & an paramecium cells, are that elodea cells can't survive on it's own because it is not a single celled organism and it has to work together with other elodea cells to survive. While paramecium cell on the other hand are single celled organisms and have everything that they need to live on their own
No,Parameacium is not a bacteria but it is a single celled organism which on bacteria
a paracemium can reprouce a blood cell can not
Elodea Is a multicellular celled organism, paramecium is a single organism Another thing is that Elodea (being multicellular) can not survive on its own while on the other hand paramecium can
