Which process removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere

There are several. The main ones are:

  • Photosynthesis
  • Carbonate formation
  • Dissolution of carbon dioxide into seawater
Ocean and wind currents are both caused by

uneven insolation

What inturment is used to measure then wind

The instrument which is used to measure wind is a anemometer. This tool is used to determine the direction in which the wind is blowing.

What infromation can you get from a weather map

wind speeds and direction

In what way are cities microclimates

Cities are warmer than the areas immediately around them.

When will condensation occur

When the surface temp. drops below the dew point temp

What forecasting method uses a cause-and-effect relationship to predict weather

Analog method

What forms along the boundary where two contrasting air masses meet

a front

In which direction does a hurricane spiral rotate in the northen hemisphere clockwise or counterclockwise

a hurricane rotates counterclockwise

What type of air mass would produce warm dry weather in the summer

continental tropical

What does the L symbol indicate on a weather map

What does this symbol indicate on a weather map?

low pressure

Does bodies of water create links to other areas

If there is a river connecting the waters, then yes.

What is the dew point

The dew point is the temperature at which the air will become completely saturated. It is determined by the amount of moisture in the air, and the temperature. Fog will form when the temperature is close to the dew point.

Air conditioning is the perfect control system to maintain a steady atmospheric humidity in a unit. The atmospheric humidity is the quantity of water contained in the air in the form of vapours. When the amount of moisture held by air has reached the maximum by a giving temp, the air is said to b saturated and it is also called 'dew point'
It is the temperature of air at which the air can no longer contain all the moisture in it, and the moisture precipitates out as dew.
The definition of the word dew point is "the atmospheric temperature below which water droplets begin to condense and dew can form."

A change in Earth's total insolation would be caused by what

Sunspots

A patch of ground in direct sunlight will have what a patch of ground shaded by clouds

cow penis

Which climate zone tends to have cold winters and warm summers

Temperate climates have cold winters and warm summers.

What is the difference of the causes between a sea breeze and a land breeze

The only difference - is the direction of flow. A sea breeze blows from the sea onto the land. A land breeze flows in the opposite direction.

How the pressure measurements related to weather prediction

Decreasing pressure indicates a change in weather

For the same insolation order these regions from highest absorption to lowest.

as s hold

What of following causes tornadoes

coo,dy air meeting warm, moist air

Hpow do the conditions in the united states change when the jet stream moves north

It gets warmer-Apex
