Tata Indian Institute of Skills (Tata IIS), a Section 8 company, aims to continue this legacy by establishing the Indian Institute of Skills Ahmedabad and Indian Institute of Skills Mumbai. These institutes are being set up through a partnership between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the Tata Group. With campuses spanning 4 acres in Mumbai and 20 acres in Ahmedabad, the institutes are designed to provide cutting-edge training in advanced manufacturing, aligned with the Make in India initiative, to equip India's youth with global skills for their careers.
