If it is a 'Hormonal Method' (ie: pills, patch, shot, ring or implant) it will most likely effect your cycle. What normally happens, however, is unique to each woman. May not bleed for days/weeks/months. May bleed immediately. May be heavy/spotty. Short/long. Everyone is different.
Yes it does, before I was on Birth Control I had unbelievably bad period pains, so much so I would pass out and throw up. My birth control is now microgynon 30 and it has helped no end with the pain and also makes your periods a lot lighter. You can also control when you have your periods by overtaking a monthly dose which is very helpful with going away on holiday. Just make sure you remember to take your pill every day and NEVER run over your dosages by 6 months, without having a period for this long you can cause yourself long term damages. Your doctor will explain all of this to you anyway and your box of birth control will come with a leaflet you should read before starting to take your medication. Hope this helps!
Yes. Birth controll pills contains female synthetic hormones. It can change the duration of your period to the flow of it, causing you to have a shorter and lighter period, or a period of just in-between monthly spotting, or a period of only four times a year.
Yes because the pill regulated it. It could say on the 28 day cycle or it could vary somewhat.
Taking one BCP is not likely to effect your cycle.
Yes your period will change. Sometimes it won't even be right for a couple of months because your body is not use to it, but eventually it will go back to normal.
Yes - it normally does
A few things could be going on. If you were sexualy active just after going off the pill, then you could be pregnant and the first period was not a period. If you had contact of any sort or you were taken advantage of after the period, you could be pregnant. The symptoms listed could be the result of going off the pill. Do an EPT and/or see your doctor about a blood screen.
yes you can, it happened to me several times, the obgyn. called it break through bleeding.
Yes, even taking birth control for one month can mess up your period for six months. The pill is used to change how your body naturally works. When you take it off and on your body goes crazy because the pill didn't finish the job it started.
Your period may start within 5 days after going off the pill or it may come when it is due.
That differs for everyone and depends on where you were in the pill cycle when you stopped for a week. If you don't get a period within four weeks, have a pregnancy test.
yes u can because its not ues to it but u sould be okay!
Wait a few months after going off the pill to see if your periods are still regular. If you don't have a period for 2-3 months and aren't pregnant, see your OB or reproductive endocrinologist to be tested for PCOS. Often times the pill can mask the symptoms of PCOS and you won't know you have it until after you go off the pill.
yes!! don't SKIP!! if you stop taking it your period should regulate soon. yes!! don't SKIP!! if you stop taking it your period should regulate soon.
not right away .
The pill can really mess with your sytem and make you have a period for a month and then skip. I really can't say but after a year you should be having regular period. I would go see a doctor.
Going off the Pill shouldn't affect your menstrual cycle.
it happens to a good amount off people. especially if you take the pill an skip a day or mess up some how cause then it throws your hormones off the schedule your use did. happened to me a couple times.
