No, a vaginal yeast infection should not affect your cycle. Sometimes your cycle can change because of stress, which also incidently causes a yeast infection. However, not to freak you out...pregnant women also frequently get yeast infections. You might want to check that out just in case. I hope this helps a little...

Yes, any kind of infection in the body can throw your cycle off causing it to come earlier or later, but, if you've missed it all together and are sexually active, you might try a home pregnancy test:)

A vaginal yeast infection cannot cause you to be late or miss a period as it will have no effect on the hormones controlling your period. However if you have a lot of yeast infections you may have something else e.g. pregnancy or Diabetes whic CAN affect your periods.

Yes!! The menstrual cycle is governed by hormones. In fact, bleeding during your menses will actually increase the production of Candida (cause of yeast infection). Your hormones are controlled by the pituitary gland in your brain and has no correlation with whether or not you are infected with the protozoan. In short, go get yourself some Canesten. As an adjunctive therapy, down tons of lactobacillus which is commonly found in yogourt and drinks. This will decreae your bodies pH and prevent growth of Candida. You might also wanna get a pregnancy test if your sexually active or find out why your period isn't ocming regularly...

A vaginal yeast infection will not impact on your menstrual cycle at all.

Menstruation comes in accordance to your menstrual cycle, which is controlled by hormonal changes between reproductive organs. A yeast infection is nothing more than an overgrowth in the yeast that are always naturally prevent in your vagina, yeast has no effect on your hormones. If your period is late or you miss your period when you have a yeast infection it's just coincidence.

No, yeast infections will not cause late or absent menstruation.

Your periods are controlled by your menstrual cycle, hormonal changes between your brain and reproductive organs, they are not changed by a yeast infection in your vagina/vulva. Your vagina naturally contains yeast, if yeast could delay menstruation it would always be an issue, a yeast infection just means increased yeast growth. Your period is late for another reason like stress or ill-health, although if sexually active you may want to take a pregnancy test.

What is the difference between bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection?

Bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection are both the results of imbalances in the normal flora of the vagina. A yeast infection involves an overgrowth of candida and related species. Odor is not a huge complaint of women with yeast. Symptoms may include redness and discomfort. The vaginal pH is normal. In contrast, bacterial vaginosis is a death of the protective bacteria in the vagina. Odor is a common complaint, but inflammation and irritation are not. The vaginal pH is usually higher than normal.

Why does pus smell like dirty feet?

It's normal for your vagina to have a slight odor. But, a strong vaginal odor - for instance, a "fishy" smell - might be abnormal and could indicate a problem. An abnormal vaginal odor is usually associated with other vaginal signs and symptoms such as itching, burning, irritation or discharge. Bacterial vaginosis - an overgrowth of normally occurring vaginal bacteria - is the most common vaginal infection that causes a vaginal odor. Trichomoniasis - a sexually transmitted infection - also can lead to vaginal odor. Chlamydia and gonorrhea infections usually don't cause vaginal odors. Neither do yeast infections. If you have the symptom that abnormal, you can make an appointment with your doctor for diagnosis. You can also use fuyan pill for treatment. If you have the same conditon before and you can treat it by yourself...
