The Cold War includes the Vietnam War, the Yom Kippur War, the Six Day War, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Iranian Embassy Siege, the Korean War, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Cold War was mainly between the United States and the Soviet Union, who both had large stocks of nuclear weapons. The Cold War dissolved around 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed.
