No Heart disease (cardiovascular disease) and a multitude of illnesses kill more. Think about it for a minute, cancer, HIV/AIDs, malnutrition in Africa kills a child every 5 seconds which amounts to around 6 million children a year alone in Africa. How about cancer and all its forms?
The only time guns may have killed more than disease & illness was perhaps WW2 when an estimated 50 to 70 MILLION people died as in 2.5% of the worlds population back then. The guns that possibly killed the most in that war were the German machine guns - the MG-34 and MG-42. On Omaha beach upon June 6th 1944 D-Day landings a 21 year old German machine gunner killed an estimated 1,000 G.I.'s firing 12,000 rounds of ammunition in the process as the tide caused a lot of landing craft to land directly in front of his well fortified emplacement. The MG42 could fire 25 bullets a second....thats 1,200 to 1,500 bullets a minute. It sure killed a lot of Russian soldiers too. World War 1 years may also have been the only other time in recent centuries where guns and knives/bayonets killed more but I doubt it. Spanish influenza wiped out millions back then also.
Bow and Arrows, Guns, and Knives.
i'm guessing guns and large knives
Guns, Bowie knives, and True Grit.
No. They were not allowed to be involved in combat, however they could load guns, be there when people were killed, but not be allowed to kill them. Even though they were allowed to be spies and be tortured, fly aeroplanes to the front lines and build ammunition and guns.
Artillery and machine guns caused armies to stay in defensive positions.
More people are killed in the US with firearms than knives.
It is spelled knives.

People are not killed by guns. People are killed by other people. Some use guns, some use other objects.
ANSWER The Report by the 'Australian Institute of Criminology' into the 510 homicides across Australia between July 2008 and June 2010 found that -Guns killed 13% [but was 25% in 1989-90 ] -Knives killed 41% [but was 30% in 1989-90] In other words, despite the media hype and the anti-gun lobby, more than 3 times as many people are killed by knives rather than guns. This disparity is set to increase - just ask the cops. [ Stats From article 'Murders at a low, but knife use on the rise' in the Sydney Morning Herald in Australia]
Impossible to answer without a time frame.
During the genocide, people were mostly killed by machetes, but guns were also used.
The number of people killed by knives compared to guns varies by region and year. In many countries, particularly those with strict gun control laws, knife-related homicides can be higher than gun-related ones. For example, in the UK, knife crime has often surpassed gun crime in terms of homicide rates. However, globally, gun homicides tend to outnumber those by knives, especially in places with high levels of gun ownership and violence.
