The major cause of deaths of Muslims in the war against terrorism has been Muslim sectarian violence. In Iraq, for example, more people die at the hands of Muslim terrorists than any other intervening cause. The Sunni vs Shia violence leads to many deaths daily through suicide bombings, assassinations and other acts of violence.

There are estimates around but they would refer to populations not religions.
