The legal age of majority for the state is 18. Massachusetts has no formal emancipation laws, but minors are legally independent at age 17 and a half. http://www.masslegalhelp.org/children-and-families/emancipation

Ok, I live in Massachusetts, and let me tell you, it's wicked hard to make enough money to survive up here. Yeah, it's like that everywhere, but it's especially difficult here. Also, taxes are really high, and houses cost a ton. Let's not forget about owning a car and baying over 3.30 for gas. One more thing, what about the winter? Do you even know how much it costs to heat your home? Yikes.
Overall, I'd say no. Flat-out NO.
Okay, first off the question was not how difficult it is to live in MA when your 17. it is CAN you move out at 17. From the information i have looked up on this (and i am 18 by the way) i have found that when you are 17 and a half you are legally independent and you can move out with parents permission. you CANNOT be legally emancipated until you are 18 in massachusetts, but you can move out with your guardians permission at 17 i would say, overall. hope this helps :)
can you move out at 17 teen yes
Religious Freedom
Massachusetts to Rhode Island
Benjamin Franklin was a second-generation American, born on Milk Street, Boston, Massachusetts, January 17, 1706.
The pilgrams moved to massachusetts because they wanted to have the freedom to practice whatever religion that they wanted without being imprisoned or possibly killed.
get a passport and then just move there
No, being the age of 17 is not the same as being 18. Until they are 18 in Massachusetts, the parents continue to be responsible and make the decisions.
The easiest is parental permission. Otherwise you can try to get emancipation.
Without parental permission not until you are 18.
If they have parental permission, they can. Without it, they have to wait until they turn 18.
Being pregnant does not emancipate you. You must be 18 or married.
The only reason to move to the state of Massachusetts would be for jobs. Massachusetts has a bigger population than many states.
Some people move from England to Massachusetts because they like the land better and the people. Not all people think move from England to Massachusetts.

If you qualify for unemployment benefits from Massachusetts, then you can continue to collect from them if you follow their instructions for your move out of state.
No, a 15 year old can not move out without parental consent in Massachusetts. A minor can only move out if they are legally emancipated.
