In my opinion Zorastrianism was the first global religion used as a social tool to get lots of people to go to war for a holy cause. On a more specific level it gave us moses and the ten commandments as these concepts which appear in later religions can be traced back to Zorastrianism. Friedrich Nietzsche wrote "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" in the 1880 and his thinking has shaped a lot of 20th 21st century.
For me Zorastrianism started a model of social engineering that lasted for many thousands of years only Neitzche had the ability to see its affects on society and the need to allow people to think differenetly.....
