It actually stands for Central Committee (CC) of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CPCz)

The Previous answer was incorrect due to the fact that that the Communist Party of the Soviet Union abbreviation is CPSU.

The CPCz and the CPSU were both Communist nations in Eastern Europe, and both members of the Warsaw Pact, which created the "Iron Curtain" that British PM Winston Churchill described. In 1968, what is known as Prague Spring, the SOviet Union, with the aid of its Warsaw Pact Allies (with the exception of Romania) invaded Czechoslovakia for fears that the reforms of Alexander Dubcek were too Liberal, and would cause the Warsaw Alliance to come undone. From then on the CPCz and the CPSU never saw eye to eye, and is probably the ready you have found it referenced in regards to the KGB.
