The Arab-Israeli Conflict is a number of wars whose battles take place in the southwestern part of the Middle East. These battles stretch as far west as the Nile River, as far south as Eilat, as far east as Damascus, and as far north as Beirut. However, most of the battles occur in small portion of the Southern Levant in the Middle East along the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea in territory termed "the former British Mandate of Palestine".
