Columbus did not come to India but when the Voyager had gone in search of India, he reached America to which he had called India.

The Voyage Book of Christopher Columbus 'A New World Revealed' got lost; his biographer Bartolome de Casas, in the 1530s describing the details of his travels has written that even while dying Columbus had repeatedly said that he had visited Indies (meaning India).

His words and writings did not suit the European Colonial Immigrants to America and the History stood changed.

From the word Native Indians what Columbus had described to the King of Spain was changed to Red Indians.

But History like Science changes with research.

Now those Red Indians are once again called Native Indians establishing the truthfulness of the fact that First immigrants of America were Indians who had migrated to America through the Beiring Pass some 30,000 years back to Alaska and then North America.

The Colonial Immigrants later drove those Indians down to Maxico and occupied America.

No. Christopher Columbus never found India. Although while trying to find India he found the Bahamas. Christopher did find the Bahamas first but not North America. The Vikings found North America first in the location of Nova Scotia.

No. He didn't know there are North America and South America. So when he saw a land he thought it was India but it was actually North America. That's why Native Americans call Indians.
