The government was in control of most modern day Russia and parts of modern day Poland from 1922-1941. Towards the end world war 2 up until 1991 it controlled most of the Balkan peninsula, eastern Europe, half of what was once Nazi Germany, all the way as far south as what is the Caucasus region & Kazakhstan.
