Please remember that by the time the US dropped the A bombs on Hiroshima and Naggasaki, the war in Europe was over. The Soviets had gathered as much technology from Germany as they could. They knew where Germany's research efforts were leading them. Also remember at this time Patton was trying to regroup and re-equip the former Germans into units he could train for the drive against the Soviets. Patton had asked the valid question, why did we fight and have so many Americans die to replace one dictator (Hitler) with another (Stalin). The Soviets knew about Patton's remarks and that there were some in the Allies camp who wanted to continue the war. With the dropping of the A bombs, the US displayed a new and fearsome weapon against which the Soviets had no defense.
USSR
They didn't. By the time the USSR finished fighting Germany (by themselves because Churchill and FDR didn't want to help), the US had been fighting Japan for a while. The USSR did declare war on Japan after the Germans surrendered. Before the USSR could do anything, the US dropped it's two atomic bombs. The Japanese were rumored to have started peace negotiations with the USSR agreeing to act as the liason after the Little Boy bombing, but the Fat Man prevented it. Many say the US bombed Japan because they didn't want the USSR sweeping in as the hero.
None whatsoever. Michael Montagne The bombing of Japan with the atomic bomb served as a signal to the USSR that the US not only had the bomb, but that the US government was also crazy enough the use it. Simply having the bomb and ending the war - the Japanese had been offering to surrender for months before the bombing -- would have left the possibility open that the US would not use the bomb, but just bluff with it.
We did not want Germany, Japan, Italy, or the USSR to know we were working on it.
The atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was done to bring the war to a speedy conclusion, because the USSR had just declared war on Japan 3 weeks earlier, and it was feared that the USSR would take over Japan as it had taken over eastern Europe, if they were allowed to get too heavily involved. It should be noted that there is still one small island of the Japanese chain that is occupied by Russia, even in 2009, long ofter the end of both WW II and the Cold War. This remains a bone of contention between Japan and Russia.

Russia (USSR) declared war on Japan right after the Hiroshima bomb.
USSR
Well it was mainly that the USA had dropped the atomic bomb on Japan. But since the USSR hadn't been told about the dropping of the atomic bomb before hand this then increased the suspicion and tension between the USA and the USSR. This could have then potentially led to a fall-out between them and then possibly a war. Hope this helps. :)
none The only "nuclear war" ever fought was in August 1945 when the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan. Japan had no atomic bombs so all they could do was surrender. It was rather "one sided" and it ended WW2.
The only nuclear bombs ever used on targets in a war were by the united states on the Japanese cities of hiroshima and nagasaki.
USSR
As soon as Germany had been defeated. The UK, USA Russia and France had already agreed on how to divide Europe, and the USSR declared war on Japan (the USSR and Japan hadn't fought in WWII until this point) and 'liberated' China. Many commentators say that the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan were the first warning shots in the cold war.
