So the answer is no, they did not have bikes in medieval times. People travelled on foot, in carts, on horseback or on donkeys.

No, they didn't. Cars have only existed since around the 1890's.

In the Middle Ages, they had vehicles they called cars. Clearly, they were not automobiles; they were what we might call carriages, carts, or wagons.
