Paul was one of the apostles who undertook missionary journeys in the Roman Empire to preach and to convert people. He made three missionary trips and travelled around Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus and Greece. He also played an important role in the early development of Christian theology.
Paul helped the spread of Christianity by making the Jewish monotheistic ideas more favorable to pagans ( Less rituals and rules). He also carried the faith throughout the mediterranean, preached the gospel, established churches, and wrote letters about the gospel to Corinth.
Paul had a large influence in the spreading of the gospel message and Christianity. Paul made three missionary journeys to Asia minor and Greece. He visited places such as:
Cyprus, Pisidia, Lystra, Derbe, Cilicia, Lycaonia, Galatia, Troas, Philippi, Thessalonica, Beraea, Athens, Corinth.
Later He was imprisoned in Rome and no doubt played a part in the spreading of Christianity there. Along with these journeys he wrote letters to the churches he established. The letters would have also helped in the spread of Christianity as they also contained the gospel.
