For recognition: All GCE O levels from any board are treated equally. Difficulty level: The Cambridge Syllabus is very lengthy. Edexcel Syllabus is comparatively shorter. But the difficulty level is the same; Edexcel questions are for creative & intuitive minds while Cambridge emphasizes on knowledge. Chance of getting an A: Cambridge has the upper hand here. You will give 6 papers or so for a single subject, therefore, u have a chance to cover up ur bad exams. Not only that, Cambridge examiners are generous about marks while the Edexcel examiners enjoys cutting off marks. But, the problem is, most people fall sick giving the prolonged Cambridge exams.
