Unfortunately, I can't tell what country you're in.
If the United Kingdom, Scotland, Wales or Australia, go to your local Citizen's Advice Bureau.
If you're in the USA, contact the local Legal Aid office. They will hold 'surgeries' or support teams to assist you.
In Canada, speak with your local advocacy support office or MP's office.

You don't need a lawyer. You should have a good case anyway. I suggest that you contact your State's child support agency. When you get an interview with them, bring all the papers relating to your child support: birth certificates, acknowledgments of paternity, court orders, payment records, etc. Be polite but persistent. Good luck!
No, you don't have to be represented by a lawyer. However you may be able to get a state appointed one free of charge if you cant afford one. the way the courts work you would be better of getting some one if you can,
