Sure you can. Depends where you want to teach it. If you want to teach in Japan I've seen programs where a degree in anything will do. you don't necessarily need a degree to teach in China. Search where you want to go and then what programs you are.

please note: you defiantly need a degree to teach in Canada, W. Europe and USA or at least from what I've seen. but probably not a ling degree

Can you teach with an associate's degree?

No. In Idaho, you can be a substitute teacher with an AA degree. In the public school system, one must have earned a BS or BA degree and certification to teach (which must be renewed regularly with graduate level coursework or approved workshops in most areas of the US). In addition, most areas require numerous other tests in the process as well as a strenuous evaluative process which includes impromtu observations, interviews, video taping of lessons, community service and classes in order to receive a continuing contract to teach any subject. As for substitute teaching, it depends upon the district. Some districts require an Associates degree or at least two years of college, but some other districts may just require a high school diploma. The reason being that not only are qualified, cerified teachers scarce, but also those who might want to substitute, especially due to the minimul pay, lack of benefits, and schedule.

What degree can you get with an AAA?

AA is the abbreviation for "Associate of Arts", which isa degree. If you meant something else, please spell it out in full; otherwise, your question kind of answers itself.Occasionally people will obtain an AA degree and then go on to a BA or BS degree. However, you don't actually need to get an AA first, and it's far more common to proceed directly to the Bachelor's degree.
