i don't think so, but if you do i would watch them and take one out of the cage at night so they don't fight and if they fight and draw blood then you'll have to keep them apart and they will not become friendly EVER AGAIN!!
believe me, I know. I had it happen to me... i don't think so, but if you do i would watch them and take one out of the cage at night so they don't fight and if they fight and draw blood then you'll have to keep them apart and they will not become friendly EVER AGAIN!!

Only if you introduce a female to them. 2 males on their own will not mate
It's really quite self explainatory. Get younger gerbils, a male and a female. Make sure they aren't from the same litter, if they are the babies could have health problems. If they are younger, introducing them to one another should be a peice of cake, if not use the slipt-cage method. They should mate, and about 21 days later, you will have a litter of gerbils. =)
no they don't fight with each other
To be honest, if you just buy 2 gerbils, boy and girl, then it is unpredictable to know when they mate. They could mate anytime. :D
Gerbils go into heat ever 4 day. There are no outward signs that they are in heat, unless a male is in the tank (in which the male will attempt to mate with her)
Before the mating the male will chase the female around the tank until she agrees to mate. During the process the male will mount on the female's butt. Then they have a small chase then another mounting and another and another and another. They will do this a lot. I have read that gerbils usually mount about 10 times. After each mounting and when its all over they will groom each other: particularly, the male will groom the female.
"They will mate but if you keep them in there at the birth then the female will kill the male."
NO female bettas do not fight each other
No, to mate there needs to be a female and male involved
they will if you don't take the male gerbil out of the cage after around less than a two weeks because if they mate after the female gerbil has her pups than they will mate again and she will not take care of the first litter of pups.
No, two male cats cannot mate with each other as they do not have the necessary reproductive organs to do so. Mating can only occur between a male and a female cat.
it means male and female will look for each other to mate.
