Should you get one rat or two?

If you only get one rat you need to spend at least 4 hours a day with it, or ALWAYS creating a stimulating environment for it (Like creating mazes for it).. or free range your rat. You should have 2 rats though. Trust me, it's easier to take care of two instead of just one. They will keep each other entertained, and they even take care of each other when they get ill. Rats are very sociable and affectionate animals. If you have only one, you should give it a lot of attention.

you should get two. If not the one you have will be lonly, even tho you are there giving

it love, I will want more of it's own kind. They will be alone if none are there that

speak its languge. Just like we would.

It depends, but I think if you are an experienced pet owner and can handle the responsibility, then get as many as you like! If you're a first timer, you should get only one.
