when you first get your roborovski hamster it will be VERY hyper and active probably. Just wait 3 days or more and let your hamster settle down, but robo hamsters are generally entergetic so he will more tha likely run from you but robo hamsters will rarely bit wich makes taming them easy!
Hope this helped!
you cant tame it or make it calm down because there already nice when there born and you cant make them calm down they have like extreme adhd p.s. they like dried sliced bananas
Hi there. You can pick any type of hamster you would like but all you have to do to train it is tame it.
Some hamster may come home very nice and tame. But some you have to tame them youself.
Easy....take out the batteries, silly.
Because hamsters are a good first family pet they nay bite once but after they should be great I have a hamster of my one and the more attention they get the more tame they become and there adorable :))
depends if the hamster is tame and used to being around people and their scent.
You should tame with her which means to make her trust you. To make your hamster become tame, you should visit them more then once a day. You should also take him/her out of their cage and hold your hamster to make them feel safe and secure by cupping them with your hands. The more you do this each day the more she will trust you! Sometimes when you tame with her all the time, someday they will come and greet you!
A syrian hamster is the most common which is sold in most pet shops.
a syrian dwarf hamester is smaller and a normal syrian hamster is beigger.
Just play with it, make it get used to your touch and scent.
I wanted to buy the perfect hamster, looking on the Internet to find a tame breed. I grew impatient so i usually wouldn't go to the pet store, but i did!!!!!!!i found a honey hamster and grew so attached to her. They are very tame. i DO NOT recommend black bear hamster, they are fairly aggressive and are not suited for younger kids.DestinyAny questions??E-mail me at Alex.wasyleno@shaw.ca
It depends what you are looking for in a hamster. A Syrian hamster is the most common type of hamster. They are often very friendly and slow enough to be able to handle. All dwarf hamsters are also very friendly although they are slightly faster and more timid. A roborovski is the smallest breed of hamster they are incredibly fast and timid. They are unlikely to bite. They are often kept is pairs as they are incredibly social. They are unsuitable if you want to be able to hold, stroke or hand feed your hamster. They take ages to tame. I've had mine just under two years, and I've only just got him to take food from me. He doesn't like to be held either. But he is great fun to watch run around :D
