Hi,

In an corporate or a semi corporate organisation, when an employee is recuited he his screned throughly before offering him a job.

Similarly there is no one called a disobedient employee in an organisation. Its his attitude which makes other to think that he is disobedient.

Check the age of the employee and his experience in the organization.

If he is senior ( not in designation) give respect to his feelings and do not touch his ego. he will be your best resource

If he is junior, try to understand what makes him disobedient and try to solve his problem.

IF the problem persists then, its clearely an attitude issue.

Act Professionally, Keep your superiors informed about his performance and other activities.

Finally if it is getting worse leave it to your bosses & HR people to handle the case
