Not all StuG IV vehicles were equipped with Zimmerit coating during World War II. Zimmerit was a thick paste applied to certain German armored vehicles to prevent the adhesion of magnetic mines, but its application was phased out by late 1944 due to production concerns and the changing nature of the battlefield. Consequently, while many early StuG IVs did have Zimmerit, later models produced towards the end of the war often did not.

Zero was a Japanese fighter plane Zimmerit was a coating to protect German tanks
The Zimmerit coating for tanks was originally used by the Germans during WWII as a coating to pretect their Armored Fighting Vehicles and Self Propelled Guns from magnetic mines. While Zimmerit itself has no anti-magnetic properties, the ridged texture that it was given in the factories prevented the magnetic mines from making direct contact with the surface of the tank. At which point, the tanks own movement and vibrations would cause the mine to fall off. It was a wonderful idea, but the Germans were the only country to actually employ the use of magnetic mines during the war.
The slang term "stug" was applied to the World War II German assault guns, or Sturmgeschütz. The tracked vehicles were similar to tanks but did not have turrets, and were effective against lighter-gunned Soviet tanks.(* if this is an anagram question, the anagrams are gust, guts, and tugs)
The steel coating on the 1943 penny was implemented due to the shortage of copper during World War II. Copper was needed for making ammunition and other war supplies, so the U.S. Mint switched to using zinc-coated steel for pennies that year.
It is made of steel with a zinc coating to prevent rust.
The intent was to prevent rust. However the steel and zinc were affected by constant exposure to moisture and oil from peoples' hands. The zinc coating quickly turned a dull gray color, and any scratches allowed the underlying steel to start rusting.
The head liner is the fabric, plastic or vinyl coating put on the inside of the roof. There have been cars produced without headliners, but not in North America since before the Second World War.
