Henry VIII did kill alot of people and to us who are in a modern and civilised era find what happened in medievil times shocking. However back in the 16 century beheading, hanging burning, hung drawn and quartered was considered the norm and acceptable.
Also it wasnt just Henry VIII who killed alot of people alot of prior and future monarchs killed, for example Mary Henry VIII eldest daughter became known as bloody Mary because of the amount of protestants she had killed because they wouldn't revert to roman catholic religion.
