The proper oil level for a 1999 HD fatboy is checked with the bike warm and setting upright. Pull the dipstick and wipe it off. Put it back in and pull it again. The proper oil level is when the oil is between the two marks on the stick.

The voltage regulator is bad or the Stator. Check to make sure you do not have something pulling power when the key is off.. Check the voltage should be 12.5 to 14.0, if it is lower then 12.5 with the engine running at idle. Check the stator for ground if the stator is grounding out bad Stator. If not, bad voltage regulator
In order to check the stator on boat, you need to have a multimeter. First you have to make sure that the spark plugs are not misfiring. If they are replace them and then restart the battery.
130/90/16 my 2001 haritage sotail has a 150/90/16 with a 3/4 axle and woundering if the 1998 fatboy rear which has a 3/4 axle will fit the heritage... or what year fatboy wheel will fit?
