yes. Preferable plain- without hot sauces or excessive oils. it is a rich source of protein. If the dog has always been raised on bag food or canned food, and his organs have never been exposed to raw meat, like the sardines, EXPECT the smell on the other end to be rather gross... ;-)

I believe they are very good for the dog diet. Sardines are rich in omega 3 oils and great for their coat. My dog would have at least a can of sardines every couple of weeks!

Upon researching to find what brands of sardines are wild caught it appears that all brands are wild caught sardines. Further research provided no evidence that these fish are farmed so any store brand would be wild caught. These brands will vary between countries.
