Well according to what I found, in Superman #132 issue (around October 1959) this occured. Batman and Robin give Superman a chance to see what life on Krypton would have been had it not been destroyed. In the issue Kal-El still has the famous Superman suit and works with the Space Patrol of Krypton, apparently this would have been the regular look of the patrolmen. I believe he is still an average Kryptonian (without super-human powers) in the beginning. He evetually loses his father and mother (as well as his younger brother Zal-El) when their rocket crashes into an asteroid. Later in the issue he obtains his super powers with the help of a ray invented by a friend. He states at the end of the issue "How strange fate works! If Krypton had never exploded, I would have ended up there as Superman!".
Superman The Last Son of Krypton - 1996 TV was released on: USA: 6 September 1996
Probably just in the pilot episode for "Superman: The Animated Series".
It was about to be destroyed. Depending on where you look it up, It was either going to explode, or the sun was going to explode.
no! spiderman pales in comparison to the dark knight and the son of krypton spiderman is gay!
Superman goes by many names. His first name was Kal-El, which was given to him by his biological parents Jor-El and Lara when he was a baby on Krypton. When he arrived on Earth to be adopted by Johnathon and Martha Kent he was given the name Clark Kent. He was named Clark because that was Martha's maiden name. When he moved to Metropolis and adopted his dual identity, he began fighting crime under the name Superman which, according to Superman: the Movie, was coined by Lois Lane in her first article about him. As Superman he has many other nicknames by which he is known, such as the Man of Steel and the Last Son of Krypton.
yes she is. when krypton exploded not only superman escaped she escaped to.
Superman is from the planet Krypton. He is one of the last survivors from there since it exploded.
Superman was from the planet Krypton, which exploded just after he was launched to safety in a rocket built by his father Jor-El.
Kal-El--Superman's real name--was born on the planet Krypton. He was shot into space by his parents before the planet exploded. Thus, radioactive fragments of the plant Krypton are called "Kryptonite."
Krypton the fictional planet that Superman was born on exploded. Krypton [Kr] atomic number 36 on the periodic table is a non-exploding noble gas.
Superman came from planet Krypton after it exploded on a rocket sent to Earth by his natural father Jor-El just before he was killed.Superman comes from the planet Krypton. He landed in Smallville, KS, where he was raised. He currently resides primarily from Metropolis. It is often depicted in the Northeast part of the US, but the exact state is rarely identified.
Krypton is the name of one of the noble gas elements. Since it is not a living organism, it cannot become extinct. If you are thinking of the home planet of Superman, that is already (fictitiously) destroyed. It exploded. That's why Superman had to come to Earth.
In Superman comics, one of the few things that can defeat Superman is a strange metal called Kryptonite that comes from the planet Krypton. Although the gas krypton exists in air, kryptonite does NOT.
Krypton was the planet that the to-be superman was born and raised on, so Krypton came millions of years first.
Superman was born as Kal-El on Krypton.
There IS an actual element in the Periodic Table called Krypton, but the rocks called Kryptonite are named after Superman's home planet, also called Krypton. They are the only remnants left over after that planet exploded.
