As far as I know, there is no new animated Tarzan film in the making. But if you're asking if another Tarzan film was ever made after the original animated feature, the answer is yes. There were two sequels made. The first, "Tarzan & Jane," came out in 2003. It's a movie that takes place after the end of the original movie. There was a TV series which was called "The Legend of Tarzan," and it ran from 2001 to 2003. Most episodes took place after the end of the first movie, with Jane and her father living in the jungle with Tarzan and his ape family. The second sequel, "Tarzan II," came out in 2005. This was a prequel which explored the childhood of Tarzan more fully. According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), there is going to be a non-animated and non-Disney Tarzan movie opening in Germany in October 2013.

Tarzan is a character in a series of novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. He derived from Great Britain as a baby. He was sailing with his family along the coast of africa. Soon they ship wrecked and made home in the African Jungle. A cabin was made and soon they were castaways. But a leopard came and killed the parents leaving the baby alone. Then along came a female gorilla with no baby. So she saved baby Tarzan from the leopard and came to raise him with the other apes and wildlife.
gucci mane rose to fame out of nowhere. he is consired the worst rapper since soulja boy and the new boyz first came out! his music, which doesn't sell alot, is often mistaken with a night of too much alcohol and lots of cocaine which equals crap music!
Sounds like a garbled description of ( Green Mansions) by Hudson. the lead female character died in a set jungle fire in the end in the novel, in the film she survived. It might also be a garbled version of a Tarzan novel but it is not tarzan and the Great River which was a sort of Amazonian take-off on (African Queen) with Jan Murray as a steam lighter captain a la Bogart, a female doctor and a nativce kid- plus the ape man. Story would have almost worked sans Tarzan!
