11 days, on the 12th day the war continued
Patricolus. What happened was, Achilles didn't want to fight. Well, Patricolus had a bright idea that he could take Achilles' battle armor, wear it, pretend to be Achilles, and lead the Greek troups into battle. Well Hector was the best warrior the Trojans had. So he went out and battled Patricolus, thinking he was Achilles. When he killed Patricolus, he realized that it wasn't Achilles. Somehow, someone from the Greek side figured it out and went and told Achilles. Patricolus was like Achilles' best friend, so Achilles got really mad. He went to the wall surrounding Troy, and told Hector to come out and fight. Hector came out even though everyone told him not too. Achilles killed him (easily, for he had bathed in the River Styx and could not be harmed except for his heel) then tied Hector's body to his chariot. He then dragged Hector's body around the city walls for 3 days straight. This made the people of Troy really mad, so someone was shooting bows and arrows at him. Well, one of them made a bad shot and hit Achilles in the heel. Achilles then died and later, Odysseus became the hero of the Trojan War.
first he was going to stand up to Achilles, then he got scared and started running aroung the city (Troy). Athena tricked him, so he went to face Achilles. he then begged Achilles to let his people have his (Hector's) body if he died. Achilles refused. so then they fought, but it was pretty short, Achilles pretty much just killed him. Then all the Acheans came to stab Hector...
Athena tricked Hector by turning into his favorite brother, Deiphobos. As Deiphobos, Athena told Hector to stand and fight Achilles since "he" would be by Hector's side. Therefore, with the additional courage gained by knowing his brother was at his side, Hector decided to stand against Achilles instead of going back into Troy.
Josie Duggar came home for 2 days once then went back because something with the respiratory system.
To put it in the simplest terms, they were simply two warriors in opposing armies who met up and did what came naturally to them as warriors: they fought. However, Achilles had a grudge against Hector, since the latter killed the former's cousin, Patroclus. The fight was short, and after Achilles defeated Hector by breaking his neck, proceeded to drag his corpse around the battlefield before letting the Trojans reclaim his body. Interestingly, Achilles was killed a short time later by Paris (Hector's brother), who shot him in the ankle with an arrow (thus giving the Achilles tendon its name).
Alonzo Mourning went to Georgetown
Hector Xtravaganza went by Father of the House of Xtravaganza.
It is believed that Hector died in a duel with Achilles, in the tenth year of the Trojan War. Achilles first stabbed Hector in the shoulder. Hector fell to his knees and Achilles went for his final stab in Hector's stomach. (This was all after a long fight between them that went for some time). After Hector had died, Achilles tied Hector's feet to Achilles' carriage and ridded off with Hector's dead body dragging behind him.
Hector Camacho went by Macho Camacho, Macho, and "Macho Camacho".

Jesus was her son and she was mourning his death. Where else would she go?
There are not many documented friends of Queen Victoria. However it can be argued that her closest friend was her husband Albert. After his death she went into prolonged seclusion and mourning.

the london 2012 olympics went for 17 days !
Achilles killed Hector. Hector killed Achilles best friend Patroclus so he went insane. He caught up to Hector even with Apollo's help and once he killed Hector, Achilles attached him by his achilles heel and dragged him around. This is ironic because later Paris shoots Achilles in the Achilles heel and he is vulnerable there by not being dumped into the river styx.
