Depending on what you said, what your intent was, and who you impersonated, you could be in trouble without having intended to do anything wrong. It's always best to not represent yourself as someone you're not. If you are being questioned as to your identity (like in an internet chat room), I would hope you have enough sense to not give out ANY information, and get out of the chat. Giving false information doesn't give you any protection, and to be honest, most adults can usually tell they're talking with a child/teenager anyway, so you're not making any headway with that particular plan.

It just isn't a good idea.
