Hey I was given an old computer a while back and used it for casual on of gaming, I recently decided to build a custom PC so i started learning what i need to do and how i can pick my parts, with not a hole lot of money to spend at the moment i think i will start by doing my build in gradual bits over say a few months or so. I just wanted to know if it is worth it upgrading the GPU, power supply and case that i already have and putting a new one into the current system i am running then doing the mother board, CPU, RAM, and liquid cooling later. At the moment it has a AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 3.00GHz, in a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H with a EAH5450 SILENT/DI/512MD2(LP). Thanks, Ben
Graphics Processing Unit
On the graphics card.
it's a ogiciel for pes 12
you cant u have to battle in order to upgrade gs
no
Depends what you use the computer for, and how cheep it will be to upgrade in the future. If you play games, and can see the difference between frame rates, go with the better gpu. If you use CAD software, video editing and encoding, etc, you are better off with the extra memory. Also, take into account the cost of upgrade. Depending on your motherboard, it may be cheeper to upgrade ram or gpu. Note you can also Crossfire another 5850, to give the performance of a 5970.
Upgrade the power supply to a faster more powerful one.
I'm the OP on this question and I just want to add that the computer is an HP Pavilion and the GPU change in question is changing from a Geforce 9100 to a Geforce GTX 650
It is impossible to upgrade any type of VRAM, whether it be a laptop or a desktop. That's because the VRAM is built into the GPU/graphics card, so unless you're willing to try and switch your GPU (probably need to have it done by professionals), you'll need to buy a new laptop.
Basically, the best mobile (laptop) GPU is the GeForce 780m. You would need to upgrade more than just a "GPU or CPU" to be able to run a lot of games. As for being able to run any game on "ultra" it's just not going to happen, to be honest. Ultra settings often involve some kind of antialiasing which is a lot of work on the GPU. I have seen people using computers with TWO 780s that can't run ANY game on ultra with no performance drops. Even though there are a lot of great hardware packages that are being sandwiched into laptops these days, there are still limitations and games can still ask more than hardware can deliver. You could have a great gaming rig, however. See about upgrading to a nicer GPU like maybe a 770m and maybe a bit faster CPU.
No you cannot :(. The PlayStation 3 has a intergrated GPU(graphics card) which is solderd onto the motherboard, and there are no slots for a graphics upgrade unlike a computer which can be upgraded.
RAM and HDD are possible, GPU is not really possible for a laptop.
You can update the drivers but things like Pixel Shader depend on the hardware and therefore cannot be updated. Should you wish for a better performing graphics card, you should look at buying a new GPU.
First upgrade your miners bag then upgrade your castle hit points by one.
upgrade complete and upgrade complete 2 it's also funny you should play it
If done incorrectly, overclocking can only damage the part that you tried to overclock (resulting in a burned-out chip which will almost always require replacement) or prevent the computer from starting up (not enough power to start up the computer).
yes it is possible but the depends on data of that usb-c.
