Mr. Angeles was away from his home for another periodic inspection trip but as he look forward to his homecoming he sent a letter for nana Emilia that he has a surprise for the family - that when he get home he will bring a mat.the mats were specially woven for each of them, everyone in the family has his own mat and has his or her name printed on the mat. when he arrived he brought the mats and distrubuted to everyone their specific mat to Marcelina,a musciian (pianist), Jose(a student of medicine) , Antonia, Juan, Jesus and Alfonso. what surprised miling was after jaime had distributed every mat there were still three mats left. The family was shocked when Mr. Angeles brought also mats for Josefina, Victoria and Concepcion. there was a deafining silence when the three remaining mats was unfolded.
