BITS Pilani Dubai (formely BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus) does not feature in the two available world rankings (Shanghai Jiao Tong University,China and Times Higher Education Suppliment,UK). The fact is it is not a university and awards degrees from BITS, Pilani; as such it might not even be considered for these rankings. In fact, the only Indian institutes that feature in these rankings are the IITs, IIMs and the IIScs.
But, still BITS, Pilani in Dubai is the most sought after engineering college by Gulf Countries Candidates(GCCs). If, at all it does come at the top in the near future, which is very likely, it'll be ranked in Middle East ( or UAE ) colleges\universities. It'll be ranked among the top few colleges in UAE just like BITS Rajasthan is ranked among the top few in India.
As far as the inter-BITS ranking is concerned, among the three campuses, it would rank second ( The new campus at Academic City provides world-class facilities ) if you compare:
Dubai Campus of BITS Pilani has improved remarkably over the past decade. All 4 campuses ultimately give you the same degree. Earlier, Dubai campus admission was dependent only on 12th Standard marks but now the campus has introduced BITSAT. Since the campus caters primarily to the Indians in the Gulf, it has relaxed norms for admission (Students can apply via BITSAT or 12th Standard Marks). Hopefully, in the future, BITSAT will become 100% compulsory for the Dubai Campus. Obviously, I'd go for the flagship campus, but if I had to choose from the other three, (my personal opinion) I'd go for Goa or Dubai.
m a student at BITS Pilani Dubai ..B.E. Hons Comuter Science...the college is pretty good and the faculty are all Ph.d holders. The only drawback is the campus life...it isn't very lively and as expected by most students.

First off, Makita tools are very good. A few bits should come with the drill. It sounds like any standard cordless drill bits would work. You want a main bit that you use primarily. That is about 2 inches long and is a #2 phillips head. Sometimes it has a flat head on the other end which is handy. You may want another two inch bit with a flat head. Buy a good one for a buck extra (Vermont American bit, etc...)so it won't get stripped quickly. You can buy lots of bits that are two inches long, but you want a bit set. It has a bunch of different smaller bits that fit into a 2 inch chank with a socket-type end. There is just a ton of different stuff that you can buy, and you can probably find lots of different kits that contain all of this. You can use drill bits that are made for cordless drills. A normal drill bit won't work. The base end of the bit is made to slide down/ fit into the drill. I have some of those drill bits, and I also have some that make a little divit into the wood so the screw-head fits in nice and snug. Mine are made at Ryobi, and I bought them at the Home Depot. You can buy replacement drill bits to fit into the base. That's pretty handy because you can break a lot of bits without replacing the whole thing.
Ponyboy liked Two-Bits' (Keith) mother because she had the same good, humor and easygoing ways that he did.

too good !!
Both colleges are equally good. But, one must look into the matter deeply as in fee structure, course alloted, location, placements and its reputation. Some may prefer DCE. Some may prefer BITS ( NOTE: BITS Pilani-Rajasthan is still preferred over DCE). So, it's kind of very difficult to judge now. The students of DCE are very smart and confident in their approach. Indeed, DCE students have a bright future ahead of them. And the students of BITS Pilani-Dubai have the same attitude too. Well, like it or not, but these BITS students aren't wrong if, they say they're getting the same degree as BITS Pilani, Rajasthan and that they are receiving a very good international exposure in Dubai. Honestly, choose DCE or choose BITS ( any campus ), you will have a bright future.
Yes, Cromwell Dubai is one of the institutes offering degrees from Buckinghamshire New University UK for Executive MBA working professionals. Get a Degree from the UK in one-third of the actual cost & no IELTS is required.
No. NIT TRICHY WARANGAL AND SURATHKAL are good but not at all comparable to BITS Pilani. BITS is way ahead in terms of infrastructure and placements. BITS has a brand name much better than NITs refer these links: http://www.nitt.edu/home/students/facilitiesnservices/tp/ http://indiaedunews.net/Career/India_gets_\'Washington_Accord'_membership_1456/ http://discovery.bits-pilani.ac.in/statistics/2008/body_summary.html BITS has got international recognition as well ( second link) and I know students who have left NIT Trichy CS for BITS CS!! nit trichy nit warangal nit suratkal nit allahbad nit calicut nit bhopal etc...are equally good to BITS pilani
well much cannot be said of now bt seeing the track record of BITS one thing is assured that in no time hyderabad campus wud be among top colleges in india..
I think it's very difficult to choose. Some Eml colleges are prestigious and good, and are good for research especially. Bits Hyderabad is not yet made fully, and u wud be in just 2nd batch.
dubai is good

no it is not good for hyderabad as it splits the unity of the people
Yes dear you can take admission but i would suggest you to compare it with other good universities as pec, bits, nims, lovely uni. compare there rankings, check for there scholarship schemes as well.
Tolani Maritime Institute pune It comes at a cost as the college has very good hostel facility, excellent infrastructure, good faculty and a good placement record. They are affiliated to BITS Pilani The selection process is also stiff, I suppose min 75% marks are required in Phy, chem and Maths. Prepare hard for interview and an online test.
