Prediction and hypothesis are kinda the same thing. Experiment is what you do to test your hypothesis or prediction.

Yes. We all are, if one were to believe the 'Out of Africa' hypothesis.
According to the Bible, Eve. According to science ... we have no idea, but she probably lived in Africa.
The evolution of modern humans influenced the out of Africa hypothesis. Humans have a determinable migration pattern by the tracing of haplotypes and their variation as humans apparently moved from continent to continent. The in place hypothesis can not account for the haplotype similarities by positing interbreeding because many peoples are almost breeding isolates, such as the tribes of the Amazon, yet they still can be traced from their point of origin with genetic typing. Thus any interbreeding with proto-human populations in place was swamped by the genotypes of the out of Africa migration of modern humans.
Africa has not always been near the equator, long ago when Wegener made an hypothesis that earths landforms were once all one landmass called Pangaea. When Pangaea was a whole, Africa was more near the poles than where it is located now.
A hypothesis
That's the thing he isn't wrong. Continental drift is totally right. How else would Africa & South Africa be able to fit together like a jigsaw?
There are no facts that support the notion that Adam and Eve existed, other than the story in the Bible. Since those who wrote the Bible were brown-skinned, they would have imagined Adam and Eve to be brown like themselves.
When you look at a map of the continents you find that the East coast of South & Central America line up with the Western coast of Africa. With how clearly they match each other, it supported his hypothesis.
