2- European union, Middle East, eastern Europe and their affiliate regions
3- Southeast Asia (except Japan)
4- Central & South America + Australia
5- Former USSR, Indian subcontinent and Africa
6- China
7- Future use (mainly media and screener protection)
8- International venues (boat cruises and airplanes)
0- No protection OR 1-6 are OK
ALL- No protection whatsoever

It's a region code, indicating that particular DVD is intended for the market in Southeast Asia. Generally speaking, DVD's produced for one region won't work on players in another - although some DVD players can be set up to play DVD's in any format.

A one code DVD is region locked and cannot be played outside of whatever region it has been locked in. A multi region DVD is not region locked and can be used anywhere.
That the DVD isn't linked to a region code, an should play in any DVD player no matter what region code the player is meant for.

For DVD, the region 2 includes : Japan and the Europe .And the Spain is in Europe.
Go into Settings Security Settings BD/DVD Parental Control Region Code and set what country the DVD is from.
