I am sorry to hear you got the "no" from this girl, but please, don't take it personally and realize that all of us have had several "nos" in our lives. This isn't personal towards you, but all about the chemistry between two people. Sometimes the chemistry just doesn't jive between the person you care about and yourself, but there is someone special out there that you'll find in the future. Men should understand the word "no" and it means just that! Doesn't matter if the girl is flirting, when it comes to the word "N.O." that's what it means. If she is flirting don't be afraid to tell her to knock it off and you don't appreciate the games. If she just doesn't want to go out with you, and you haven't gotten to know her that well, then I doubt she will want to strike up a friendship. If you've known her before or hang out in the same group of friends then there is no reason you can't carry on as before and just meld once again into that group of friends.
