A short in either the multifunction turn signal switch or a short in the wiring harness going to the switch.
check relays under the hood Answer It could be the switch on the dashboard. Possibly a bad headlight switch or connector. I just had a `93 Sable that the headlights would turn off when the right indicator was selected, and come back on as soon as it turned off. The signal/wiper switch was in rough shape (washers didn't work and wipers only worked on high) so I changed it out. headlights still shut off on right turn signal. Pulled the dash and found the headlight switch over heating, and connector melted. Replaced connector and switch. SOLVED...
May be lose contact in Indicator switch or while you press brake there is switch, connected for back RED Danger light..may be your car or bike electrician mistakenly join wrong wire... Check it

The combination turn signal, cruise control, windshield wiper, and headlight dimmer switch simply plugs in. Pull the relay switch out and replace with the new switch.
If I remember correctly, the 96 I used to have had the headlight switch at the end of the turn signal lever, and the 95 should have the same setup.
When you operate the bright/dim switch, do the lights ever switch between high and low beam, or are they stuck in the high beam mode? If your headlight switch is like mine, and is part of the turn signal/headlight/dimmer/cruise stalk, you might need to replace it. It's about a $60 part and is a reasonable do it yourself job.
