If you want an audio output from the TV to connect to a home theater receiver or other amplifier, you will have to use the optical digital audio output or Audio Return Channel through the HDMI connectors. Those are the only outputs on this TV.

If the TV does not have a HDMI plug it is still possible to connect with a plug that has RCA or S-video plugs on one side and HDMI on the other. Sony has an Official Component AV cable and a Component AV cable and USB Cable Pack. Target.com has them for $30 and $20 through the link with Sony PSN. A link to the PlayStation Network PS3 accessories has been added under related links
If the television has audio out jacks you can use a wireless headset, or you can connect the audio out to an amplifier that has a headphone jack. You will not be able to plug into you TV but if you have a VCR attached plug your headset into it. There is also a device that transmits the audio signal to a wireless headset.
Scart connectors are a European video and audio standard for analog video signals. They have been commonly used as links between video recorders and televisions as they provide a single wire interface between the two. The signals used in a scart connector vary but they can include composite, S-video, RGB and component video. All of them are analog signals. Most new televisions do not offer scart connectors but the signals are almost always available on alternative inputs. Composite will usually have a single yellow phono socket (RCA socket), component will have three phono sockets S-video will have a 4 pin mini-din socket for example. There are a range of scart adaptor cables that have a scart plug at one end and separate video and audio connectors at the other. Select the type that is needed and it should all work fine. To answer the question specifically, a scart to USB adaptor sounds like a video capture device for use in a computer and is not the right thing to use in a television, even if the television has USB sockets.

Yes you can, go to radio shack and get a 1/8 adaptor to the size of plug from your guitar and plug it into a mike jack on the back of your amplifier, but if you dont have that type of jack in back you probebly have phono in jacks instead, so just get a phono to the guitar size instead of a 1/8". Look for the type of jack on the stereo and it will say mike-in or aux in.
Radio Shack carries a "2 into 1" adapter just for this problem. The two stereo leads will have a male plug. The adapter will use two females to this side. The single imput lead from the adapter will be male and plug directly into the mono-imput on your device. That imput will be female.
