To begin, Egypt is considered North Africa. Large parts of Eastern Africa were actually controlled by Germany prior to World War I with the Germans losing all of their colonial holdings as part of the Treaty of Versailles 1919. These holdings were divided up among the Allied Powers of World War I with America rejecting the Treaty.

There is no place as the Republic of South America. Simon Bolivar had a vision of a United South America similar to the United States but most of the area of South America rejected the idea. On his death bed he is quoted as saying, "All who served the revolution have plowed the sea".
