The rarest non-legendary (because those are obviously the rarest in any game) would probably be Feebas. You have to canvas a whole pond in Mt. Coronet fishing several times on EVERY SINGLE TILE until you’re sure a Feebas will not appear there (so, about 5-6 times on each tile). Once you find a tile with Feebas, you can come back to it as many times as you want to catch more—but here’s why I say they’re rare: the tiles shuffle daily. So if for any reason you want to go back and catch another Feebas for…say, natures or something, you’ll have to do the whole thing again if you dared to wait until tomorrow.

Feebas is a rather difficult Pokémon to catch, as it is only found on four tiles in a rather big lake, in Mt. Coronet. These four tiles change randomly every day. The best way to catch one is to go west from Celestic Town, go into Mt. Coronet en go north and eventually west. In the next room, use Defog and go to the lake in that room. Then the only thing you can do is fish on each and every tile in that lake three or four times, until you encounter one. When you encounter one, it is recommended to catch several, as this is very easy when you know a spot they appear and it can come in handy when evolving it into a Milotic. This method works, i have three Feebas now.

you have to go to a place in mt coronet where there is a lake a it is foggy. If you have defog use it. You have to use your old rod to get feebas in the lake. It worked for me after a few tries. Hopes this helps!

yes you do. You have to go to the part in montian that has a lake then you use surf and when you find a spot where you the feebas is the use your old fishing rod. P.s feebas changes spots every day so is you find one in the left croner the next day it could be in the right croner
