Who will grant permission for starting online news portal in India?

yes really a funny question..You may be knowing internet is not owned by anyone.Do register for a domain name and avail server space so that u can create a Online news portal

but there is a RNI agency in india who gives the permission for a news portal in india else you can register an website that's true but not authorized so u have to follow the rules if you want authentication.

RNI only regsiters printed publications. Seee this i found on their site:

4. Since RNI registers only printed publications, applications should not be sent for:

i) registration of news agencies, ii) feature agencies, iii) publications containing solely coaching material, or iv) electronic versions of publications including titles options using words dot com, dot in, blog, portal, facebook, twitter, orkut,linkdain, you-tube, Yahoo, Google, Wikipedia, wickiliks, etc
