because the leaders of Muslin League wanted another place, provisions and more recognition of Muslims in India.so instead Pakistan nation came up where Muslims established themselves.this is the partition.also it wanted kashmir.but kashmir had Muslim people and a Hindu king so the king decided to merge with India.also hyderabad had Muslim king and Hindu people living in it.so the people decided to merge with India.this way both states were merged in India.as a matter of fact i`ll tell u in India after hindus the second highest percentage is of Muslims itself.we don't discriminate them.but Pakistan is our arch-enemy.

if u want more accurate information, refer to the N.C.E.R.T book of history of class 8.u`ll get all the information.
